Publisher's Summary

Jordan Peterson is a Canadian clinical psychologist and a professor of psychology at the University of Toronto. He rose to prominence in 2013 after he began uploading recordings of his lectures to YouTube, attracting millions of subscribers and tens of millions of views.

Viewed by some as a controversial figure, Peterson characterises himself “against political correctness.” He received considerable media coverage after criticising the Canadian government's move to enact Bill C-16, which made misgendering a form of hate speech.

In this episode Peterson draws on wide-ranging sources to reflect on the nature of hierarchy in society and addresses some of the criticisms of his approach head on.

Awesome lecture by Peterson!

This lecture added to my knowledge and consolidated how I view some problems. Subjects such as post-modernism, gender, hierarchy, and tribe, are well discussed.
