Listening to James Herriot’s recollections of his veterinarian career is always a heartwarming treat and Christopher Timothy is the perfect narrator.

I love the narration by Christopher Timothy in all the James Herriot books . He really does a superb job of the accents of the Yorkshire Dales . I love going back in time when life was simpler and people were honest yet kind most of the time. I have often found myself laughing in my car as I listen to James as he makes his witty observations not only about animals but also their owners as well as his colleagues . Its so heartwarming to listen these stories .
