Entertaining and insightful
Thoroughly enjoyed this blind buy - funny and insightful, and I always appreciate a great oral performance by the writer, Phoebe. The addendum is absolutely adorable!

Everything is trash except this book lol
Yes!
This book gets a resounding yes from me, if you liked ‘You Can’t Touch My Hair’ you will love this.
First of all let me say I think Pheobe should narrate everything, literally anything that is listened to should come from her vocal cords. The colloquial quippy way that the book is written in and of itself makes for a fun and easy read but Pheobe’s little giggles and laughs (which low key, high key remind me of @majimb.o who’s giggle alone makes you laugh) elevates the listening experience. I felt like a good friend who was a great story teller was telling me stories while I worked out, cycled down the beach, had my lunch and before I went to bed.
Pheobe comes for Feminism the way Tyra came for Tiffany yelling “...WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU!” And takes a quick moment to give the liberal feminists a plethora of hot tips.
She constantly tackles very difficult and complex topics and manages to effectively lighten the mood with her random abbreviations and comedic skill but when necessary and for valid reason has moments where she chooses not to do that.
I had noted that the story where someone 👀 buys her flowers on international women’s days was my fave story until I got to to the Addendum.
She gave us an amazing audiobook and then she made a tiny brilliant podcast baby with British Bake Off and gave that to us.

Better than the last book
I was iffy about purchasing this book. I am glad I did. It was personable and very candid. I laughed aloud (literally) when appropriate.
