I try my very best to listen to this story. It seems like it was narrated by a juvenile. The narrator was probably a boy trying to sound like a girl and her/ his voice was so annoying and high pitched it ruined the listening process.
I just could not do it. I had to quit listening to this high strung person . I wish that authors pick the right narrators . It either makes the book or bombs it. This one is a boomer. Please don’t waste your time.

This book has everything! A leading male character who thinks and acts like he has an established Reddit account that exclusively vents in the incel section, gaslighting, manipulation, flat out lies, physical assault, entrapment, and enough red flags to make the literal gang member in this book look like the good guy. Genuinely STUNNED that this was written by a woman. I’m totally down for complex, disliked, and even hated characters, but this really takes the cake as far as writing a MMC that should be locked up instead of winning the girl. This is the kind of book id suggest if someone wanted to know how incels justify their horrific behaviours, and what red flags look like. Congrats to author for romanticizing an abusive and toxic relationship.
