Nothing else to say. The next book better be better than this first one cause they throw a lot of shit at you in the last 2 hrs of listening. Everything before was fucking stupid. Everything whining piece of the FMC just pissed me off.

The story finally gets better in the last 2hours …

I think the writer started out with an idea and then it sky rocketed into something else. the book was not the best the characters were way to young to be doing what they were doing and killing at 8 years? that's hard to believe.
I wanna finish the series because I have a feeling that she did the wrong thing by turning him in, but she is to weak and keeps pissing me off, they all are.
Maybe if they were in college or just starting to work some of these things would be believable.
And some of the things the MMC did to the female was clearly r**e but the way it's written it's like she didn't know that it was. Even when Dash left Willow crying in the library, clearly she didn't want if but yet he forced himself on her and kept doing it through out the book.

Reads like it was written partly by AI or something. There’s so many parts that make no sense, and reactions that characters have that no actual person would have. Cringey, won’t be continuing the series.

The performance of this book was great! The spicy scenes were great! However… the story is unbelievable, messy and disconnected. The author has great potential but missed the mark by not being able to pick a direction. Also the age time line was unbelievable. I hope that the fmc would grow a set of balls and the mmc would have more moral growth. I still couldn’t stop listening because the author sure knows how to write chemistry - maybe a little too much of it. I am going to try the next one to see if I can make sense of the point of these.

Spicy yet messy

There are a couple minor inconsistencies in the story writing. Starts out Hot and steamy but thats the hook to draw you into the back story. Which draws out into a lot of screwing around to finally build into a climax and devastating cliffhanger for the next book. Still better than the Twilight Saga and I was a Twihard in my teens.

Still a better story than Twilight.
