Description

Felix

Things I expect to find at Gadleigh Castle:

  • Rare stained glass, the subject of my dissertation
  • Peace and quiet, to finish said dissertation
  • An escape from the paparazzi swarming around my starlet mother’s latest blockbuster release

Things I don’t expect to find:

  • A hidden door leading to a secret room
  • The most gorgeous man I’ve ever set eyes on
  • Love

Lio

Things I know are expected of me in life:

  • One day soon, I will become the King of Liorland.
  • I will marry a nice woman who will become queen.
  • I will provide heirs to my family’s monarchy.

Reasons that might be difficult:

  • I’m gay.
  • I’m falling in love with Felix Wilde.
  • He has no idea I’m royal.

While it can definitely be enjoyed on its own, Felix and the Prince is the second novel in the new Forever Wilde series about the huge Wilde family from Hobie, Texas, whose patriarchs aren’t above a little meddling if that’s what it takes to help their grandkids find true love.

Beware: Nekkid man parts touch. Let's just say, Felix gets royally screwed in the very best way.

two thumbs up

I got to say I recommend this book there's just something about it it's a gay Fairy Tail I know it's made up but I do like how the author of the book took really good care and putting in lots of details to make you believe that it's real but I'm not going to get too much into it I don't want to spoil it but don't take my word for it actually read it or listen😘

Surprisingly Great

I never read fairytales. Can't stand them. so admittedly I skipped this book in the series. After I got bored of other books I caved and got this one. I think it may be tied for my favorite spot along with Hudson and Flirt and now Wilde Love. So it was a huge surprise.

When I put aside the whole he's a fake Prince of a fake country it just ended up being a really great love story. Yes completely unrealistic but great nonetheless. It's sweet without being too sweet, it's funny in spots and of course has some sexy moments. I also found that with Felixs regular life and the inclusion of his other family members occasionally it balanced out the realistic with the unrealistic parts so it made it believable enough.

Bottom line if u like fairytales u will love and if you're like me and don't def give it a chance it's not like other fairytales. Yes it's far fetched but it's real enough and if you keep that in mind and focus more on their cure relationship you will love it

Michael is great as always. He had 2 distinct voices/accents so it was easy to follow

Heart-wrenching

it was incredible to listen to hard to listen to too
I so desperately want romance in my life...Michael Dean is an awesome narrator and the range of voices he can do is incredible at the end of a story I have to remind myself that it's only one man

I'm sure all who listen will enjoy it...you just have to survive the journey

Truly outstanding! I'm truly star struck!

I never ceases to amaze me how incredibly amazing this series is. I love how Granpa and Doc are very wise and lovely to all their children and family. They make the whole story so wholesome.

I always love the idea of queer royalty romance and this definitely fulfilled that need.
Both men have lovely personality that just can't atop loving. Lio is gentle and purely sweet but strong as he is smoking sexy: like a royalty should be.
Felix is a somewhat awkward smart geek hottie that has some sexy strong physic and hidden artistic skills. Both are like a perfect puzzle pieces that fit together nicely. The pieces that need each together as eternal companions. Pieces of a bigger whole puzzle.

All this amazing story and dialogues being performed by the fantastically amazing Micheal Dean. I just can't get over how he's not more popular for his amazing talent. I feel like discovered him so late. I heard of many narrators performances and yet somehow Micheal Dean blow most of them out of their game in my opinion: relatively speaking. That's not to say those other narrators can't good, On the contrary, they are very, very much amazing but I personally just think that Micheal Dean is just so good at performing. His performances make me cry, laugh, jump in joy, melt my heart in so many ways and many scenes. Each scene doesn't only feel like a film, but it feels like I'm living it personality. Just like one of the men in each story. Each dialogues and scenes feels very real to me like I'm inside their head. That's how I feel every single time I listen to Micheal Dean. You're so talented and incredible. Thank you very much bring the author's lgbtqia book into life; because that's how I feel listening to it, alive inside the story.
I can't ever wait listen to more and more, and more of his narrations and performances.
Thank you so much writing such an inspiring lgbtqia+ story.

Needs Better Editing

This is the second Lucy Lennox book that I've listened to, and my feelings about this one are almost identical to the other. This author knows how to write dialogue, plot, and characters in such a way that their story pulls you in, but all of the novel's other aspects are weak, which ultimately ruins the overall experience of the book.

Scene-setting and descriptions are lacking, which is a big disappointment. I found myself focusing less on what was happening in the story, and more on attempting to picture what was occurring and where they were in relation to everything around them. It was all so vague that I never quite knew where the characters were positioned and what the space looked like. I firmly believe that this author needs a new editor, because there were far too many occurrences of "I could hear", "I could feel", and "I could see", etc.

I don't know if I'll listen to another book by this author.
