In Fierce Leadership, Scott teaches us how to spot the worst "best" practices in our organizations using a technique she calls "squid eye" - the ability to see the "tells" or signs that we have fallen prey to disastrous behaviors by knowing what to look for. Story
Often in our romantic relationships we long for deep connection, but we don't know how to communicate well, and sometimes even withhold what we're really thinking and feeling. This can lead to fighting, resentment, or worse, complacency—where you are just going through the motions, living more like roommates than two people in love.

Story
We've all had experiences with two dramatically different types of leaders. The first type drain intelligence, energy, and capability from the people around them and always need to be the smartest people in the room. These are the idea killers, the energy sappers, the diminishers of talent and commitment. On the other side of the spectrum are leaders who use their intelligence to amplify the smarts and capabilities of the people around them.

Critical reading for ACTUALLY solving problems
A complete guide on using radical transparency in leadership. I wish everyone were willing to communicate this way.
The 4 stars in performance is only because the narrator is extremely slow for me, but it's perfect sped up to 1.3x speed!

not entertaining
Long boring conversations with very little insights and most of the time I felt message is repetitive. It could have been much shorter and to the point rather than going through whole story and losing interest in the point at the end of every conversation.
