I found myself rolling my eyes and becoming super frustrated during this book. Zoey was so annoying, how can so many people follow her? It’s not believable at all. Sorry but this book was full on thumbs down. I wish I didn’t spend my credit on it. Sigh

Not as good as the others

I loved this series at the start. Ryder was my absolute favorite MMC at that time. I loved all of the supporting characters. The plot was fascinating. Each individual story seemed so fascinating and I just couldn't wait to see what happened. But then it all got so redundant! SMB took out the spice, she reduced the MMC to a wuss, and at this point the FMC has become so whiny, obtuse, and inconsistent that I can't stand her! It's taken me almost a year to finish this last book when I binged the first 2 and took a few weeks for the 3rd. I don't know what to say. It's a frustrating thing because of the other books. You want to finish the series. But be prepared for a frustrating, annoying, less than enjoyable time.

At least there is always Sprig.
