it's an entertaining story that provides some interesting details at the concepts in the new Star Wars land. If you are visiting that land reading this book will definitely boost your experience there.

Story wise it obviously doesn't affect much the Skywalker saga, none of the new expanded universe stoies do, but it's still a good side story. I was worried I wouldn't understand a few characters since they come from the Captain Phasma book, but it was perfectly fine with the mini summaries the narrator provides.
