I would say this storyline was predictable and uneventful but if you want something easy to listen to it was okay.

Good story. Nice and easy pallete cleanser in between ACOTAR books. Also, nice to hear an old Twilight fanfic polished up.

What a great story, brought to life by fantastic narrators. Joe and Maxine have knocked it out of the park. Maxine’s voice of Madison is adorable! You won’t be disappointed!

Great 2nd chance romance. Strong fmc who doesn't take bullshit. No drawn out fights that could be easily solved with a basic conversation like in other books. Spice 🌶️ 3 Romance ❤️ 4.5

I'm very impressed by the male dialogue Maxine Michell manages. She's really awesome. They're BOTH really awesome. Joe Arden does an AMAZING job with an argument in Chapter 21 - lots of back and forth and fast pace speaking really gets you into the zone of the interaction. And it's easy to sense who's speaking.

Normally, I don't like books that have flashback chapters but I love this one. The little side notes that fill in gaps in the story and specific situations are well written.

Everyone did a great job with this book. Author and both narrators.
