Fantastic

This book fits right in with the old BNI adage of “Givers Gain”. Excellent story and will definitely be listening to it again.

Some good info, but felt like it was lacking

I think this is one of those books that could have been a long blog post. I do really believe in the message it is pushing (using gifting to build relationships) and the author gives examples from his life when it worked. He also gives some guidelines like don't gift food-related items and don't gift around Christmas. But overall he gave a very small range of the type of gifts that work well. For example, he repeatedly uses a knife set as an example throughout the book.

long story short...send knives and you'll do well!

Too much fluff not enough case studies.
Book goes over same concept of" Give before you receive " over and over again.

I would recommend "talk triggers" to anyone that is interested in making experiences special

Quick but informative

Interesting about giving good, meaningful gifts vs just anything. We give tons of gifts to our clients and making one of meaning is key. Great book, worth the investment

Chalk full of nuggets

A great way to approach relationship building for any business owner that doesn’t want to compete in red oceans.
