WOW!!! What a story!

This is the 4th book in the series, yet it is a standalone. This book does not have a cliffhanger ending, but a great ending. I have read and listened to all the books in this series and am drawn to this one the most. Willow Winters and Lauren Landish write seamlessly together. I loved the narrators in this book and the series. They both did a fantastic job conveying emotions in this POV book. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.

Same story different title, but worth it.

Really enjoyed the book, but with that said ..'.... it's pretty much the same storyline as the book titled "Traded " just not as , how do I put it.... drawn out or as violent. Which I rather enjoyed..

THE LEAST SATISFYING OF THE FOUR!!

I did not "read" any of the books so perhaps I missed something. I don't know if this book was intended to make Xander appear to be more human than the other three or to give very young 19 year olds a romantic story to swoon over or to create romantic angst, but none of it worked for me. I love reading and I get that it can be escapism, but there is no way Xander would have "dummied up" in all aspects of his life; I know he wasn't a true "dom" but he was a true loan shark. I waited to get all four audio versions before listening; perhaps I would have enjoyed this one more if there had been a time gap between my listenings.

It was okay

I like all genres of books, even BDSM. This book was okay. I actually liked the male character more than the female. Narrators did a good job. I am going to try another by this author and hope that it gets better.

not enough depth

too quick to fall in love and if there was a month ... use the month to build it so its believable ... then refuse to let her go and that becomes the reason for taking her. whole court thing was lame. good storyline that wasnt played out well.

Going downhill

I loved this series to begin with dark but good. This book devolved into total headspace. Not even hot. Just a lot of angst going on in their own headspace. The only reason I made it to the end was looking for a little hotness and wondering how the heck it was going to become a HEA

True love comes out of a shroud harsh deal.

I was unsure of the content at first and was worried the kinkiness would take away from the story. I was pleasantly surprised to see I was wrong. listening to the love and romance that unfoalds will warm your heart. The end is the Cherry on top!
