I’ve spent my whole life seeing monsters, but they could never see me back...until now.

This story is overflowing with tension and anticipation. Perhaps because we've read all about this world and this family for the last 3 books, OR because it finally feels like things have come full circle and there is a sense of closure. It feels like with each new MFC the maturity level goes up exponentially.. although that could be the build-up of traumatic events piling up.

Also, the narrator did a great job.
