À propos de cet audio
Gypsy Freedom is the story of a boy who leaves home sickly and uncertain, and returns a young man shaped by hardship, loyalty, and the wide open road.
After illness forces Kevin Scott to leave his Wyoming valley, he joins a traveling Gypsy clan and begins a long journey across America—through the Everglades of Florida, the Blue Grass country of Kentucky, and the mountains of the West. Along the way, he finds healing in honest work, learns responsibility through the care and training of a black stallion, and forms a deep bond with Ginger, a courageous collie whose loyalty saves lives more than once.
Kevin's travels bring joy and loss, moral tests, and moments of quiet faith. He experiences the kindness of strangers, the consequences of wrongdoing, and the enduring pull of home. As his horse grows into a powerful race stallion, Kevin himself matures—learning patience, sacrifice, and what it means to choose integrity over ease.
At its heart, Gypsy Freedom is a coming-of-age story rooted in family, faith, and the dignity of work. It is a portrait of America as it once was, told with sincerity and warmth, and a testament to the enduring bonds between a boy, his dog, his horse, and the people who guide him toward adulthood.
