A masterpiece of Halo lore.
Only bad thing about this book is that it ends. A perspective of this ever growing universe that was absolutely necessary and beautifully written.

Unreal book!
Great book if your looking at the covenant pov of the halo story. Really put that into perspective for me

A stunning perspective
This book focuses on a Sangheili rebellion during the earliest days of the Covenant and goes on to the days of Halo 3. It is an amazing look into Sangheili culture, daily life, religion and philosophy. As a Sangheili fan and member of a Sangheili Clan on MCC it is a must-read. It also gives a look into the culture and philosophy of the early Covenant, and the Prophets in particular. Well worth your time.

Horrible voice.
scott brick does a absolutely horrendous job at narrating this book. everyone sounds the same and theres no difference at all. its like listening to the most monotone person on the planet.
