Humans design the algorithms that define the way that AI works and the processed information reflects an imperfect world.

Introspection to help in so many aspects of life!

Publisher's Summary
A crucial intervention for a society heading in the wrong direction, offering a new way to live in the modern age. Read by the author.
We are losing ourselves. We're chasing the wrong things, asking the wrong questions, and polluting our minds. It's time to stop, it's time to resist and it's time to rethink the fundamental social blueprint that our lives are built upon.
As an 18-year-old, black, broke, lonely, insecure, university drop-out, from a bankrupt family, I wrote in my diary that I wanted to be a 'Happy Sexy Millionaire' by the age of 25. By 25 I was a multi-millionaire having created a business worth over $300m dollars. Ironically, in achieving everything I set out to, I learnt that I was wrong about almost everything... The world had lied to me. It lied to me about how you attain fulfilment, love and success, why those things matter, and what those words actually mean.
In this book, I'll dismantle the most popular, unaddressed lies about happiness that we've been led to believe. I'll expose the source of these lies, examine the incentives that fuel them and replace them with a practical set of scientifically proven and unconventional ideas that will help you to live a truly fulfilled life, a life full of the love you seek and the success you deserve.

Straight forward and clear advice
Loved this book so much that when I bought it today, I had to finish it; it came along with me during working out, shoveling and housework; so much learning; this will be a book I listen to over and over again and take notes as I go; and after hearing this book and the messages Steven gave throughout I see how all the things I do to continue to move forward and grow are making me the person I want to be… thank you for making this book and sharing all you’ve been learning in your life; very helpful and uplifting for me

Great Insight and Well-delivered
I particularly like the opening, the conclusion and the discussion on time, prioritization and focus. The examples provided were pertinent and very helpful.
It is absolutely critical to understand that "we are enough" and we should try to enjoy the journey (of life) as much as possible (with its hills and valleys). We are only human and knowledge of these insights do not necessarily translate into having better control of our feelings, mindset, or actions. However, the knowledge could be very beneficial.

More than just a “self-help” book
I am currently listening to the audio version of this book (waiting on my copies to arrive in the mail). I first found Steven Bartlett through his podcast “The Diary Of A CEO” and was automatically hooked. The conversations he has had and the points he brings up all helped me to look at things in life from a different lens.
I follow him on Instagram as well where he posts helpful life advice based on his personal experiences. The level of attention and thought this man puts into everything he does is amazing. From his social media posts to the podcast to this book. As someone who grew up from nothing, achieved success you would think he would keep all his secrets of success to himself. However, Steven does the opposite and I admire that about him. I can tell just a few chapters into this audiobook that I will be highlighting a lot pages once I receive the physical copies of “Happy Sexy Millionaire”. Highly recommend this book to anyone trying to better themselves or shift their perspective on life. I have owned a couple of self-help books in the past, but this book should not be in that category. I think this book is more than just a self-help book. This book helps to bring light to what is truly important in life. It does not try to feed you false ideas or hopes that we are normally conditioned to believe as a society.
