Publisher's Summary

Without magic, Harley knows the odds of defeating Katherine are stacked against them. Yet a sliver of hope survives in the pages of her parents’ Grimoire. The final, mind-boggling spell entails making a deal with a Child of Chaos. But what must be offered in return?

Finch wants to be the one who ends Katherine. Mother Dearest brought him into the world, and he wants to take her out. He will give anything for that chance - even his life.

Meanwhile, Katherine needs Harley’s body, or her carefully crafted façade will crumble. And she can’t let that happen, not when she’s so close to becoming a goddess walking the Earth.

Unbeknownst to them all, Chaos still has surprises in store - ones that not even Eris herself could predict - in a showdown of epic proportions.

Great series

I’ve really enjoyed this series, and found myself waiting and hoping for more. Turns out I can continue through another character after it’s conclusion(once they’re available on Audible)
Starting yet another series by the same author now!

This was a fantastic series, with a great ending.

The Harley Merlin series was awesome, I couldn't wait for the next book to be released. The narrator does such a great job with all the different charechters giving them each a different voice and even some with accents. You can pick out who's talking based on the different voices, it's that good!!

I'm a big fan of Bella Forrest books and this series is definetely at the top of my list. I love the way there is humor spliced into everything even the bad moments. She does a wonderful job of writing captivating stories. I didn't think I'd be a fan of the shifting prescriptive but the internal monologues and the extra insight really help make these books what they are. Sometimes you just want to scream when you've gotten inside info and the Rag Team doesn't know yet.

This is only the end of the first set of adventures next up are Fiches adventures with cameos by some of our favourite charechters.

Dragged out way too long...

The series started out strong, but it just dragged on way too long, it. And it really affected the story and how you felt about the characters. I love Amanda Ronconi's narration, but even she couldn't save some sections for me. I actually skipped a couple of chapters.

Character monologues got way to long

Character monologues got to be way to long and boring dragging on and on the author could have found a more interesting way of revealing plot twists and tying everything up and bringing it together, I also think the author started Wade out as a strong character in the beginning of this series and basically turned him into mush by the end. He needs to strong to be Harley’s equal and the witty banter between them needs to return.

AMAZING Series

Couldn't stop listening! The whole series is just amazing. I found myself yelling at the characters, "hurry up!" and "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!", which sounds frustrating, but it is really just the mark of an amazing series of books that are very well written.

Least favorite book in the series, but still good!

Narration was spectacular, as with all of the other books in this series. This was a really good book but was my least favorite in the series. The author did a nice job tying off all the loose ends but it felt like the purpose of the last half of the book was to do just that. Kind of a "checklist", although it was nice to have a series actually do that. I would still recommend this book, if you've read the rest of the series.
