Publisher's Summary
‘There will be three tasks, spaced throughout the school year, and they will test the champions in many different ways ... their magical prowess - their daring - their powers of deduction - and, of course, their ability to cope with danger.'
The Triwizard Tournament is to be held at Hogwarts. Only wizards who are over seventeen are allowed to enter - but that doesn't stop Harry dreaming that he will win the competition. Then at Hallowe'en, when the Goblet of Fire makes its selection, Harry is amazed to find his name is one of those that the magical cup picks out. He will face death-defying tasks, dragons and Dark wizards, but with the help of his best friends, Ron and Hermione, he might just make it through - alive!
Having become classics of our time, the Harry Potter stories never fail to bring comfort and escapism. With their message of hope, belonging and the enduring power of truth and love, the story of the Boy Who Lived continues to delight generations of new listeners.
What the critics say
"To call Dale a 'reader' of books is like saying Monet was a Sunday painter." (Los Angeles Times)

Voldemor ?
I liked this rendition but I originally was listening to the Stephen fry audiobooks, which I did prefer. I think the biggest reason for this was that he actually said the "t" at the end of Voldemort. This version does not and it drove me bonkers.

Jerky, uneven reading and tone.
Reader didn't gage the tone of the characters whatsoever! Appallingly overdone voice acting and misinterpretation of every character and their mood + pathetic interpretation of female characters and any sarcasm or other conversational quirks. It really feels like the reader could calm down a little - this story has a serious tone and it would really help the listeners mood. Otherwise I feel exhausted listening.

Fantastic!
Listened while I cooked, got ready for work, drove to work, while at work. I love being transported to the wizarding world of Harry Potter. I enjoyed Jim Dale's performance with exception of a few characters, which conflicted with the voice I associate them with (film actors) and I still don't know how I feel about it. I cringe with his Malfoy voice, though Malfoy is meant to be irritating so it's a job well done.

Harry Potter rules
Even though I didn’t finish the book I still love it! But why Does it say Voldemor rather than Voldemort?
