Heads Will Roll is an Audible Original from Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon and her cocreator/costar (and real-life sister) Emily Lynne. Produced by Broadway Video, this is not an audiobook - it’s a 10-episode, star-studded audio comedy that features performances from Meryl Streep, Tim Gunn, Peter Dinklage, Queer Eye’s Fab Five, and so many more.
Queen Mortuana of the Night Realm (McKinnon) and her ditsy raven minion JoJo (Lynne) receive a prophecy about a peasant uprising. Together, they must journey to find the “Shard of Acquiescence”, which will put down the rebellion and save the throne. Will their friendship survive sensitive generals, chatty sex slaves, whiny behemoths, princes with bird fetishes, and the notion of democracy?
This raunchy satire also includes the wicked talents of Andrea Martin, Carol Kane, Audra McDonald, Aidy Bryant, Alex Moffat, Heidi Gardner, Chris Redd, Steve Higgins, Bob the Drag Queen, Esther Perel, and more. So, hold on to your head, and let the bad times roll.

awesome!
I love Kate McKinnon and this was no exception. finished it in one day, enjoyed it a lot! if you're a fan of SNL and Kate McKinnon, definitely worth the listen.

Kate McKinnon, brilliant as always
Kate McKinnon does not disappoint. Brilliant as always, risque, irreverant. A hilarious romp on the wild side! Viewer/listener discretion advised...HA! Loved hearing the celebrity voice characters.

absolutely fantastic listen!
I would recommend this to anyone who needs a lift in their spirits. it's such a breath of fresh air and a real laugh. it's smart, current, witty, satirical and outrageously well written.

I really have to speak my truth and say anyone who didn't like this is maybe just not very bright and maybe that is cliche but like I am sharing. and maybe I am telling you something too smart for you to understand ...
the songs have a good beat and you can dance to them and the writing is as sharp as, well Occam's razor. I got serious endorphin laugh high from this delicious audio series! more.! please sirs...I want more!

Did not expect this!
This was a hugely entertaining production and did create some embarrassing laugh out loud moments as I listen while at work. Brilliant, please do more!

Why did I enjoy this so much!
This was so far off from what I usually listen to, I can't believe I enjoyed it as much as I did.
The level a crudeness and outrageousness was surprisingly Hilarious.
I very much enjoys the the theme song at the beginning of each chapter ( extremely catchy!)
and the songs and the beautiful voices singing them.
All the actors did such an amazing job.

The Best
This was amazing. Kate MacKinnon is a comedic genius. She always makes me laugh but this was full belly laughs from beginning to end. I love how she can make you root for an unloveable tyrannical Queen. JoJo and Galafar really take this story to the next level. Their characters are everything. JoJo has so many amazing one liners if you listen carefully. The Best.

hilarious and unique
Loved this off the wall hilarious production. The story was unique and loaded with hilarious lines. Hope there's another coming.
