Publisher's Summary

Fates become entangled in a web of war. As players fight for fame and glory, the Ironfrost Horde marches closer.

Hardly any time has passed since Eric rescued Owin, the unlucky militia scout from the jaws of an enormous wolf and escorted him back to Tonbura Village. His quest complete, Eric assumes that the matter is done with.

However, fate has other plans for him. Owin's information carries grave tidings for Tonbura, and all of Novanalba. Now, Eric and his friends must become stronger, and fast, if they want to be able to stand against the oncoming darkness.

Luckily, fate provides opportunities for those brave enough to seize them. With the help of his friends, a mad mage, and a militia captain whose past seems determined to catch up with him, Eric might just be able to make it out of this alive.

And if he's lucky, there might even be loot.

Amazing Litrpg Series

This is one of my favorite Litrpg series. Robinson uses the stat boxes, levels, skills, etc. appropriately, enhancing the experience of the novels, not bogging it down, making it feel robotic. I love that this series focus is the game. The main character isn't stuck in a virtual world, there is no real world drama, just a group of gamer friends, that get to play the best new game ever. The dynamic of the group of main friends is really great and relatable. If you love Litrp, great writing, superb narration then this series is for you. I cant wait to keep listening as this series progresses. I highly recommend this series.
