As a romantic suspense it was really good. Lots of action and twists and turns. The sex was too Dom/sub for me but it wasn’t handled in a way I found offensive. It was often sweet. Pippa is pretty kickass, so that makes up for a lot of things. Now the team. Wow! I won’t spoil anything here, but the team makes this book a must read for romantic suspense! A great voice for the series rounds it off perfectly.

So many moments I just shook my head over. So fun!

The story is fantastic. The narrator does the male voices so freaking great. Wish authors would get a female narrator for female parts. All the female parts sounded wimpy except the time where Pippa was angry. But that is the case most times when a guy narrates a female’s part.

I wanted to keep listening because I wanted to see how the story resolved but geez, the male characters were so unlikable and gross that I couldn’t do it.
I’m quite tired of emotionally immature male characters and women being portrayed as wanting possessive, “wild” rough and violent lovers and “brave” untameable men. Ugg. Majorly turned off. Like our culture needs reinforcement of unhealthy relationships.
