Publisher's Summary

Are you looking for a complete guide on mushrooms? Then keep reading....

Before we jump in, let’s learn a little about what exactly psilocybin mushrooms are. Psilocybin mushrooms are a type of fungi. It may seem like a wild idea that people willingly ingest fungi, but all of the mushrooms you come across in the grocery store are also a type of fungi.

What sets these special or magic mushrooms apart from those you will find on your pizza is that these mushrooms contain a specific chemical compound that leads to the psychedelic effects that the person who ingests them experiences.

There are actually a large number of species of mushrooms- more than 185 that contain this chemical compound. This means that if you get your hands-on magic mushrooms on a variety of occasions, you may actually be ingesting a number of different types of mushrooms; however, they can all get you high.

There are many different street names for magic mushrooms, and you may hear each of them spoken at some time in social scenarios. The most common terms for psilocybin mushrooms are mushrooms, magic mushrooms, ‘shrooms and ‘caps. These street names are what people use in order to source magic mushrooms for their own use.

  • Psilocybin mushrooms
  • Mushroom identification
  • Benefits of psilocybin mushrooms

And much more

Psilocybin is a psychedelic drug that works by enacting serotonin receptors, most often in the prefrontal cortex. This part of the brain influences mood, discernment, and perception.

Psychedelic drugs work in other regions of the brain that regulate arousal and panic reactions. Psilocybin doesn't always cause active visual or auditory hallucinations. Instead, it mutilates how some people that use the tranquilize perceive objects and people already in their condition. The quantity of the medicate, past experiences and expectations of how the experience will take shape can all impact the effects of psilocybin.

After the gut ingests and consumes psilocybin, the body converts it to psilocybin. The hallucinogenic impacts of psilocybin usually happen within 30 minutes of ingestion and last between four and six hours.

A complete let down.

The book is mildly about growing mushrooms. More history than cultivation.

The narrator has trouble pronouncing more words than any other book I’ve listened to, completely delegitimizing the information, and making the book almost intolerable…. Pick a different book

doesnt contain comprehensive grow guide like it claims

the book title is literally how to grow mushrooms. this book is MOSTLY safety, how to identify mushrooms in the wild. blah blah. if youre getting an audiobook chances are you arent going to go mushroom hunting on the off chance the mushroom you want to grow is in your area. people are going to order spores if youre in the US. i wanted to know how to grow the mushrooms not how to identify them. this book is not for someone who has had ANY psychedelic experiences. if youve done shrooms atleast 1 time 90% of this info is fuckin useless. when i got this book i expected to learn about pf tek, low tech ways to grow, to the most expensive ways to grow. how the science works behind it, what different factors affect yield and potency. it seemed like 1 chapter talked about this things. the other 30 chapters talked about laws and people eating them in mexico and what mushrooms look like over the world and how to make fucking mushroom fajitas like wtf. waste. of. a. token.

What in the world is this?

I don’t mean to be rude, but this book really and truly sounds like it was written with google translate. It sounds like complete nonsense! I’m not hating on people who speak other languages, I just think it’s the most shoddy bunch of words I’ve ever heard in my life. I’ve also heard basically nothing about growing mushrooms (procedures, substrates, etc.) after an hour of listening. We know what psilocybin mushrooms do to the brain, we want to hear how to grow them. Also it looks like most of the reviews are fake :,D good heavens why did I waste a good credit on this garbage?

Poorly read

This may be a good book, but this audio version is unlistenable in my opinion. The content is so poorly read, with so many badly mispronounced words, it is hard to trust that I am learning good and accurate information.

Unlistenable

I'm usually not critical at all but I couldnt even get through the first 30 mins of this. sounded like it was being read by someone who was just learning to read, putting emphasis on weird syllables, mispronouncing many words, using such an awkward cadence, repeating the same useless information over and over. Sorry, but if your looking to learn "How to grow psilocybin Muchrooms" this book will not help.

I love it

Inexperienced persons cannot properly identify the Psilocybin mushrooms, and they may mix them with other mushrooms. Many mushrooms are toxic and may lead to death. therefore, u should not search for psilocybin mushrooms without the help of an expert. Experts can easily identify these mushrooms based on their experience. which are white in color. To identify magic mushrooms, It must have the following on it. It must be Brown colored mushrooms (Brown fruiting bodies). Having white gills underside. Most of the psilocybe mushrooms have a ring around their neck, so consider that too. Spore color (mostly purple-colored spores are of psilocybe mushrooms)
