Publisher's Summary

She's desperate to sate her hunger. They're determined to possess her. Is she willing to give up her freedom for a taste of passion?

Amara was content to live as a lone wolf, the only one of her kind - or so she'd thought. Her world was flipped on its head when a strange man with a familiar scent showed up at her work, demanding a private meeting.

Desperate to find the mate Luc had scented from 400 miles away, he was shocked to find her living as a lone wolf. Amaroki women were to be cherished and protected. What had happened to her family? More importantly, how was he going to convince her to return to the reservation with him? And how would his possessive brothers react when they found him with Amara?

Amara couldn't deny her attraction to the wolf-shifter named Luc, but she wasn't about to give up her career to mate with him and his three brothers, no matter how hot and bothered he made her. When his brothers arrived - tall, tanned, and virile - she could no longer deny her savage hunger for these shifters.

But how could she satisfy her desire and still maintain her independence with four overbearing wolves around? And how would she bond and adapt to their lifestyle when she couldn't shake her dark memories? More importantly, how would her mates react when they learned of her past? Would they reject her, or would they risk their lives to seek vengeance on those who've dishonored her?

Contains mature themes.

Interesting enough, good spice level

The story is pretty simple you can guess everything before it happens but it’s still interesting to listen to especially if you like spice in your books.

Weak female character

The storyline is really good but the female character is not really believable. As the main female has had a hard life and living on her own you would think she has a good backbone. Not to mention apparently she is mated to 5 wolves. Which isn't my thing in a story. I kept waiting for the story to get better but it didn't. The storyline is good but also the voice narrator kept making some of the male characters talk really fast as inmature males. Having a handsome, sexy beast sound corny and immature removes the essence of the character.

Terrible narrator, very wooden delivery

The story was weak and situations were overly dramatic! I couldn’t wait to get to the end.

Didn’t like

I found the part where they all took her from the butt. Was very hard to listen to. It was very forced on to her. They say we will not hurt you. Yet she was hurting and they never stop.

sexxy

I enjoyed the book. I will be listening to the rest of the series. The narrator was very good.

A magical plot device

This story uses the magical plot device of “because we said so”. Rather than make characters independent with their own story element the main heroine of this story is a collection of tragedies wrapped in an attractive package that has a magical plot device that just so happens to make her horny and wanting within in moments of meeting the first of four brothers. This hokey story even manages to shoehorn in: the unexpected long-lost family reunion, the kidnapping of the heroine by ugly scarred men, the timely rescue and so forth. Do NOT try to reproduce the scene mid-book without preparation, condoms and personal fluid enhancers! Oh the ripping! Bah.

Could be triggering for some.

Gave up listening part way through chapter 7. The narrator does well with the female characters but needs a lot more practice/training for male characters. By chapter 7 the male characters sound more and more robotic which is very off putting.
As for the story line…. shame on the author! A group of men abducting a woman isn’t sexy. Having a violent, unlikeable character as a romantic leading man is absolutely revolting. You know what’s sexy? Consent. There was nothing romantic about this so called “romance” novel. Perhaps things improve farther along in the book but this listener had enough.

Not bad

I liked the storyline. The intimacy seems to be written by someone who has never been intimate though… Just my opinion.

Not Bad

I am disappointed, the storyline needs heavy editing. This book has potential but there were areas I was left confused due to the sheer naivety and juvenile actions of the female lead. I find the sexual scenes to be slightly disturbing , I am for kink and all but it seemed like borderline rape. Is the female lead afraid of her second alpha or what? I did quite a bit of eye rolling and couldn't wait to finish this book. It was exhausting and I won't even talk about the ending which was ludicrous, it wasn't even a cliff hanger. It didn't setup for the next book. I do not recommend, this book should be under the free section and not work 15.00$. I want my credit back. I will start using Good Reads to review before purchasing.
