Okay, so I’m not done listening yet, however!!! I’m on chapter 20 already and aside from the FMC escaping where she was in the beginning, literally nothing has happened other than the inner turmoil of her thoughts. Which only ever include “I can’t trust anyone” and “I don’t feel safe outside these doors” and “I can’t tell them my secrets, ever”
In all the 20 chapters there is wonderful detail in everything else around. Place and things. But come on! I get it, scared and traumatized but we’re what? On day 4 of being in the house of 4 smexy men, all with their own inner turmoils, which is fine but let’s speed things up a bit ya? Let’s skip the “I’m a terrified little mouse that flinches with every loud noise” … at least just a little bit. I want to get to the rest of the story. Please!

Story does not progress at a decent pace. It feels like the whole first half of the book is solely for inner thoughts and vague backgrounds. I'm still eager to read it though, and still enjoy it. The second book seems to be more much enjoyable.

The narrators have soothing voices. Sometimes a little too soothing, and makes me sleepy. Was already a huge fan of Aiden Snow, though.

I go threw books so quickly and this one done in under a day. I couldn’t seem to put it down, and every chance i had i returned to it. After completing the story i found myself driven to continue, i had to know what came next. I was devastated realizing how knew this book was and that i now need to weight until the next is released. A fantastic listen. The story was awesome and all the narrators left me captivated.

One to reread again and again.

Could have been a great story, it really didn’t need to be a trilogy. Leading lady was annoying had me screaming at her the whole time to just get over it… because of that the book became repetitive and whiny. Great narrators though I would listen to them read a menu
