About this listen

A dark elf. An ice demon. The power of darkness at my fingertips.

The fate of the kingdom fell into my hands when I was one of only a few to escape the city walls. Against evil forces that call upon monsters beyond my comprehension, what am I to do?

Whatever it takes to see my kingdom free.

Contains a hero teetering on the edge of darkness, along with detailed harem elements.

For those who don't know or choose not to look up the word "harem" clearly included in the book description, it refers to graphic sexual scenes between multiple women and one man. I enjoyed this particular one. Heavy on the story and plot with harem moments and scenes.

I love a good harem/fantasy

I don't mind a good fantasy book that has a little bit of play with the characters. Some writers like to think fantasy is just that and they go off track a little bit too far. if you're looking for a book that has some very graphic areas this is the book for you. but for me I would have liked to known this before loading it up in the car with my kids in the backseat. A disclaimer is needed on some of these books just my thoughts, other than that it was a pretty good book.

very descriptive sexual depictions including females willing/wanting abuse and a lot of harsher language... both of which are elements i dont value in my fantasy fiction.

some interesting concepts in the story that I wanted to pursue further so I read the 2nd book as well... no answers.

many situations resolved by yet another power that is suddenly available out of the blue

adult elements I don't need in my fantasy fiction
