Witty and fun!

Not as good as it could have been
The voice acting was very good but I found the humor to be crude and childish most of the time.
I also found the parody very over the top and I think that cutting back would have made it better. Though if crude humor and over the top parodies are your thing you will more than likely enjoy this book.

Luke Daniel's is a genius!
A clever story which made me groan or chuckle out loud with each pun delivered. Luke Daniel's narration was unbelievable. He is amazing and did the story proud. I enjoyed every minute.

if ever a book was written to be read out loud...
This book is sooo wonderfully written! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it myself, BUT!!!
I am in love with the audio version!
Luke brings the story to life! he does an amazing reading, the characters so recognizable by his voicing.
And what a story!
it's so awesome to get that little flash of recognition to referrals, to jokes, to sooo many things.
I was fortunate to be listening when stuck in traffic, laughing, chortling, snickering, such that I was disappointed when I had to start driving again!
heartily recommended! off to source ham jam and the next in series is ready to go!

hilarious
If you are looking for something similar to the Iron Druid Chronicles, this isn't it. Most negative reviews seem to be from people who were expecting something similar to IDC. Instead this is a satirical take on tropes in epics. It's hilarious and Luke as always give an incredible performance.

Sad to say, the storytelling really got my goat!
It started strong, had an interesting twist, but quickly devolved into juvenile jokes and unresolved plotlines
