This book is an excellent way to learn.

It's been over 16 years since I graduated from high school. As an English speaking Canadian, we were required to take French through school.

I am planning my first trip to Europe in 2019, specifically France so I have been looking into relearning the language.

I'm a busy entrepreneur so I don't find that I have a lot of time to sit in class to brush up on my skills, so this audible recording is a perfect solution. I'm able to take it with me on the go and brush up on my skills while I travel for work between cities.

Each sentence is explained clearly and while this audible book is simple, it explains the basics of French very well.

If you are diligent in your study, you will make great progress and this book is an excellent way to learn.

Not for beginners

This is definitely not for complete beginners. You will not be able to learn from this if you have absolutely no French experience prior to listening to this book.

If you need to brush up on your French however this is the book for you.

its okay

the stories are fine but the translations at the end drive me nuts. the English translation is often pronounced incorrectly and is said with such a heavy french accent that you're left saying "what did she just say!??? hurt, hand or held?" I have no idea.

useful and effective for beginners

I found this book very organized and useful. Each chapter is organized in a manner that you can learn important verbs and nouns. The pronunciation is very clear. The length and organization of the chapters gave me motivation for learning this language without being bored
