Publisher's Summary

The drums of war sound in the Limitless Lands as Commander Raytak continues his quest to unite Hayden’s Knoll under the banner of the Imperium. Narbos the Grimm prepares his forces to invade, seeking new power from an ancient evil as he tries to wrest control of the zone from Raytak and his friends.

Unsure of who is friend or potential foe, Raytak must make contact with the Ikbose elves and the Goreaxe ogres. Will they join the Imperium? Will they choose their own path? Will they fight alongside his enemies?

Back in the real world, his aged body deteriorates and the medpod struggles to keep him alive even as it unlocks more of his faded memories. The AI takes a risk that will either lead him on the path to remembering his family, or wipe from his mind all trace of their existence.

Can Raytak win in the continuing fight to recover his mind and body? Or will all that he and his friends have built inside the game burn to the ground?

excellent

Really enjoyed this book, excited to see where the next book goes. I appreciate the author doesn't hold back on resolving plot lines when they become unnecessary.

The Series Gets Better and Better

I love this series! I have been thorough entertained since book 1. The idea that a military veteran is inside a Lit-RPG and is trying to recover his memories while his body heals in the real work is an original take on this genre. Jack Voraces a a very talented narrator and has made every book memorable and unique. His voice is unique and able to give each character life.

I feel this great progress

I loved this book just like the others. it's solid steady progress for the main character raytac. not to give anything. so I can't say much but need more ty and raytac moments

Yet another great installment in the series

This is one of my favorite LitRPG series. The military aspects are realistic and engaging. Book 4 was a great addition that moved the story forward. The narration was top notch, much like the previous 3 books. The book had multiple occurrences that I brought up at my DnD group, which they loved. I am only sad that there is only 1 more book in the series, but it should be an epic conclusion.

a great 4th book

I liked that we got to see the whole zone and the gnome. I was disappointed that the owlbears were barely in it

The roman war boner is drumming a tune to my hearth

I love these books and i simply can nog get enough of them, wish they where longer but still worth every credit spent on them. Narrator and autor knows what they are doing, i do recommend these books.

Can’t wait for the next!

I’m so sad that I have to wait for the next book. The battle scenes in this one were better than ever, and the plot just keeps getting more interesting. See you in a few months, Crunchy!

That ending, right in the feels

This is one of those few LitRPG series that makes the best use of the genre. It's not just a great example of what LitPRG can be but explores some of the additional impacts we could see from VRMMOs combined with other future technology. I could really gush over this series, from the great characters to the diverse world, interactions between the game and the real world, and on and on. This series really does an amazing job merging LitRPG into a truly great story. Hands down one of the top series I would recommend for someone looking for great fantasy or LitRPG.
