Miss Read does it again.

I have just recently discovered the writings of Miss Read. This is the first book that I listened to being read. At first I found it slower than the other books in this series. However, it wasn’t long before I got caught up in the story and the narrator’s expression as she read. This was a delightful book as we were transported into Miss Clare life as she lived it for the past seventy plus years. The book was engaging to both the mind and heart.
