Ray Porter Is Great But These Short Stories Aren't

I Love the works of Johnathan Mayberry, on the Joe Ledger Books, and the narration that Ray Porter has provided over the series has brought the characters to life in a way I haven't experienced with any other book on Audible.

However, this collection of Short Stories has only left me wanting a true Joe Ledger Novel from Mayberry now. Some of them are good, a few are meh, but they often just seem to end abruptly without the sense of any closure. I understand they are short stories, but one literally ends with Joe being kicked into a River, and the girl who was there to kill him walks away.

All for More Joe Ledger Books if they are complete stories, flushed out ideas. This was a collection of Fan fiction from authors. Appetizing but did not fill me me adequately as a fan of the series. Just my opinion, I am sure many would disagree with me.

Ray Porter for President 2020.... and or Come to Canada.

Maberry - blink twice if youre under duress

None of these stories made me feel closer to the DMS and Joe Ledger story.

I dont recommend listening, its like being in an alternate universe. All the voiced were there but the personas didnt feel true to the original characters. I truly hope the movies dont come to the same experience
