Great Read/ Listen

Richard Branson takes you on a journey of his life - both from a business and personal perspective. He is a very down-to-earth guy, great sense of humour, and clearly a person with a great deal of integrity. There is a lot to be learned from this story.
Definitely worth a read/ listen.

Great story about how Virgin was built

I loved learning about the highs and lows of the Virgin journey and how Branson's calm, cool demeanor helped him most when things were stacked against him.

Brutally boring.

Respect the man, but this book is not intriguing, interesting or helpful in any way.

Branson, by Branson

Branson narrating was a pleasant surprise, but the candid stories that are shared, take this book to another level. No matter the event, high or low, Branson hides nothing.

Seeing as this isnt the entire book

Short easy sell for Richard, good to see he put out the full version. This teaser wasn't as enjoyable knowing I was only getting a fraction of the tale

Great book about Virgin and the Branson

This was a fun book to listen to. As an entrepreneur dealing with the constants ups and downs of business - it is temping just to say "screw it" and through in the towel. The listener learns about the ups and downs of Virgin, how it got started and its constant struggle with cash flow. You hear about Virgin's success and its failures. In its early years Virgin often took 2 steps forward and then one step back to grow. I can relate.

Branson also does a great job at revealing enough about his life and character to make the whole book work.

Love the book and would recommend it to any entrepreneur trying to grow a business.

Humorous, Educating and Enjoyable

I will keep this short and brief.

Losing My Virginity is a great book and is a good way to be entertained for a couple hours. Branson is quite ambitious and this book shows how he lived his life the way he wanted to and one of these outcomes was an incredible company. His stories are both educating and humorous. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to learn the type of life Richard Branson lived.

Very different from the actual book.

I was looking forward to the same as book but this looks like an incomplete one. Hope I get the actual audio of the book like how Steve Jobs or Elon Musk books are.

AUTHENTIC AND INSPIRING

I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED FLYING VA FROM JOBURG TO LONDON BOTH IN PREMIUM ECONOMY AND UPPER CLASS. THE POSITIVE ENERGY AND JOY OF THE CABIN CREW, THE SERVICE AT THE HEATHROW AIRPORT LOUNGE AND THE OVERALL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE OF FLYING ON THIS AIRLINE ALL CAME TOGETHER IN THIS BOOK AS BEING UNDERPINNED BY THE VALUES THAT MR BRANSON HOLDS DEAR BEING WHICH INCLUDE HAVING FUN WHILST DOING BUSINESS AND DO GOOD UNTO THE NEXT PERSON.

Not the greatest book I listened to. but it is a nice story. Flow could have been more creative and easily relatable to anyone's life.
