The incessant need to describe the dream world!

The incessant need to describe the dream world as a separate reality grinds my gears. This is neuroscience, not pseudoscience. A simple example of the brain talking to itself more-so than while awake. What is impressive about lucid dreaming, is how incredible this synthetic reality can be.
