I thought this was pretty cute - I enjoyed the way it was told through the different events that were attended throughout the year. But it did feel like something was missing - maybe because we didn't get to see any development outside of events (and events are stressful, which causes heightened emotions!). I also wanted a bit more development at the end and to not have such a broad opening for it. I think there are a lot of questions that go unanswered, which can be fine, but not necessarily for this type of novel.

I enjoyed this as an audiobook!
