What the critics say

"Osborne's narration is low-key and well-paced. A great way to introduce children who are reluctant readers or can't yet read to this highly entertaining book series and to reading in general." ( Chicago Parent)
"Osborne's soothing, beautifully articulated voice and knack for characterization are reliably pleasing." ( AudioFile)

Excellent

My 4 year old daughter has listened to this book a minimum of five times through. When I'm busy she turns it on an listens. My 6 year old son has also listened to it two or three times. We have 5 of the Magic Tree House collections and each has been listened to multiple times. I've enjoyed listening to them as well as there is a lot knowledge to learn from these book. Mary Pope Osbourne has done alot of research for these books. I highly recommend any of the collections.

Great Childrens Audiobook

If you could sum up Merlin Mission Collection in three words, what would they be?

Magical, Adventurous, Inspiring

What other book might you compare Merlin Mission Collection to and why?

Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe or Harry Potter but more appropriate for younger listeners/readers

Have you listened to any of Mary Pope Osborne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is similar to the other series but with a focus on Camelot

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

My children really have enjoyed listening to this. It's nice to have something that isn't 'screen' time but can keep them occupied for a bit and is educational while I'm working on other things.

Great stories

We love Magic Treehouse books and enjoyed the magical twist that the Merlin Mission series offers. Our only complaint is that the narrator was somewhat monotone and sadly didn't add the excitement that the stories needed.

Great collection!

My son (age 4) loves all of the Magic Tree House books. They have great adventures. The stories are full of history and good morals. They are our go to for traveling and as an alternative to screen time!
