Disappointing

Interesting in beginning, then went downhill, not believable, I will not buy another Harlan Coben book

Harlan Coben - Missing You

Intriguing but gruesome story line but the final outcome was a bit predictable. Listening time was perfect.

On the edge of my seat!

This was an enthralling book! I was chewing my nails off near the end. Very satisfying ending and interesting ride throughout. There were some conversations where characters did a lot of “you don’t understand!” And “What are you talking about!?” over and over which was at times frustrating, but worth the credit for sure. Great female lead.

Missing you

I enjoyed this book as much as I did with the other one see above. Good story line, and good character descriptions. It took only a few days to read the book because I wanted to know what happened to the characters.

Best Coben book yet!

I have listened to about 15 Harlen Coben books and this is my favourite!!! The narrator's voice is fantastic, and the overall story made it really hard to put down. I don't know how he's going to beat this! HIGHLY recommend.

Not his best work

I just finished this book and don't know how to explain this. I really enjoy Harlan's gift to weave several seemingly separate stories through one or two central characters into one solution. It keeps you want to continue reading, keeps the suspense up. Same with this story, but towards its culmination it had some very weirdly long introspective mental analysis by characters about their decisions as they were fighting for their lives. It gets to the point of wanting to skip forward to just get on with the story. This is an action thriller with a good story line but the action is presented in slow motion. Somehow it doesn't quite feel like Harlan's own writing style.

Good twists and turns, but not his best work.

I honestly don't know what to say. It has some really great twists and turns as Harlan Coben is know for, and that's what kept me interested, but there are just some actions by the main character that are so ridiculous and unbelievable, you want to pull your hair out. You, as the reader know within the first few minutes what is happening, but an NYPD detective can't seem to clue in.

I have no problem with violence in books, and typically are drawn to books that feature a fair bit, but some parts were overwhelming to handle at times.

I really liked January LaVoys narration, she is one of my favourite female narrators.

This book is OK. Definitely not one of his best, but it's not ' Six Years', and that's a bonus.

Not a favourite

I found it to be long winded and it did not hold my attention like previous titles by this author

Too long

Decent story, but way too long. It should of have been half the length. Filled with too much unnecessary trivia. Not sure if I’ll read another by this author.

Fun but mildly frustrating

Entertaining story. Male characters seemed like a female-written stereotype, as did female characters seem like a male-written stereotype. MC doesn't really connect the dots all that well, has to be violently hand-held through the clues which is probably great if you find yourself lost in movies and asking your partner what's happening.
