Publisher's Summary

Money $ecret$ to Make You Rich provides the steps we taught our boys so they can achieve financial freedom when they are adults. We believe in the Mills Way Financial Freedom Action Steps and Rules. My dream with this book would be that I would be helping millions of people around the world with it.

When I started this book, it was initially meant to teach our kids how to create wealth and become rich someday. Rich can be different amounts of wealth to different people and different meanings. For us, it is achieving financial freedom and having choices that we can make ourselves.

Don’t you feel that our kids need to know about personal finance and how to create wealth? I meet more people over the years who are still working in their later stage of life because of poor choices they made with their finances when they were younger. Some just never had the education or training on the subject to know how to live financially free.

Whether you've purchased the book or received it as a gift, I thank you for taking the time to listen to the book. If you are already financially free, then you don’t need to listen to this book. If that is the case, maybe give it to someone who isn’t.

Throughout this book, I write as I talk. I am no English-writing expert like my oldest son. My style may not be perfect to some; it may seem straightforward or too blunt. I don’t mean to offend anyone with this book; I just want to help people achieve their wealth and financial freedom goals. This book is not like other books; I wanted to make it a practical tool that someone can use and achieve their goals with. The action steps done in order could help someone create the wealth they wanted and to attain financial freedom.

I could have spent thousands of dollars on fancy editors to polish this book off. One of my books I did spend over $18,500 on those fancy editors, and it seemed like they took some of the ways I talk out of the book. Plus, I am into expense control and would instead invest that money toward our financial freedom.

I felt like parts of that previous book wasn’t in my words. So, I said that I would not do that again and keep it in my words. I like to keep things simple and not use any big fancy words that some people would have to look up. I write in the same language that I have used in my speeches.

If this book even helps you in a little way, then your life can be better off for life then if you never heard it. That is my goal: to help you live a life that you may enjoy more and be happier because you are financially free.

Remember, this book doesn’t tell you what to invest your money in specifically. That is up to you or your professional financial planner or advisor. There is nothing new in this book that hasn’t been around forever. This is our system that we taught our boys on how to achieve and live financially free.

Nothing is rocket science in this book. there is no get rich schemes or magic pills like you may see on social media ads. This is how we hope our boys will live and what I have helped people with over the years.

If you don’t do things differently, then nothing will change. So, what is holding you back from taking action towards being financially free? Like someone says, “To eat an elephant, you need to take one bite at a time”; the same applies for financial freedom. It doesn’t happen overnight, and it starts with taking one step at a time. It is up to you to decide how bad you want to achieve your goals and what you are willing to give up to achieve them. Then you need to take action. No one can do it for you.
