Bennie Rosato, Mary DiNunzio, Judy Carrier, and Anne Murphy are back with all cylinders firing in Accused. Mary Dinuzio has just been promoted to partner and is about to take on her most unusual case yet, brought to the firm by a thirteen-year-old genius with a penchant for beekeeping. Allegra Gardner's sister Fiona was murdered six years ago, and it seemed like an open-and-shut case: the accused, Lonnie Stall, was seen fleeing the scene; his blood was on Fiona and her blood was on him; most damningly, Lonnie Stall pleaded guilty.

Publisher's Summary
Lisa Scottoline breaks new ground in Look Again, a thrilling audiobook that's both heart-stopping and heart-breaking, and sure to have new fans and book clubs buzzing.
When reporter Ellen Gleeson gets a "Have You Seen This Child?" flyer in the mail, she almost throws it away. But something about it makes her look again, and her heart stops—the child in the photo is identical to her adopted son, Will. Her every instinct tells her to deny the similarity between the boys, because she knows her adoption was lawful. But she's a journalist and won't be able to stop thinking about the photo until she figures out the truth.
And she can't shake the question: if Will rightfully belongs to someone else, should she keep him or give him up? She investigates, uncovering clues no one was meant to discover, and when she digs too deep, she risks losing her own life—and that of the son she loves.
What the critics say
“Actress Mary Stuart Masterson's warm, precise voice enlists the listener's sympathy for Ellen, even in her most boneheaded, self-sabotaging moments, and also provides convincing accents for the secondary characters.” —AudioFile
“Narrated by actress Mary Stuart Masterson, Look Again is a suspenseful story that tugs at the heart, as listeners follow Ellen's determined search to uncover Will's mysterious history, raising questions of where he belongs--and who he belongs to.” —Kirkus Reviews
“As skillful as Scottoline's thriller is, it is enhanced by Mary Stuart Masterson's performance. Her characterizations are distinct and evocative, her tone remains smooth, even while ratcheting up the tension and suspense. Listeners will be wholly absorbed by this moving story.” —Publishers Weekly

Best Read in Ages
The narrator for this book did an amazing job and the story was gripping. The story involves a woman who adopted a little boy, then 3 years later she sees a child on a card for missing children that she thinks looks just like him. At times I was terrified for the main character Ellen. Yet at other times I was screaming at her to leave well enough alone. The story kept me engaged from beginning to end.

Easy read but lacking substance
Very predictable. First novel by this author for me. I found a lot a padding in this story. Way too many superfluous details that add little to the story. Also did not like the cheesy Italian accent for the love interest. The story was interesting but the writing style of this author is a little too “soapy” for me. I really don’t need to know our heroine “slid” into her pants as she was dressing. Needless to say I will not be reading/listening to any other novels by this author.
