Publisher's Summary

Newly appointed CIA director Dr. Irene Kennedy is the target of an inside plot to destroy her and prematurely end the American President's term. To make matters worse, Saddam Hussein is close to entering the nuclear arms race - something Israel has vowed to stop. With the haunting specter of World War III looming, the president calls on his secret weapon: top counter-terrorism operative Mitch Rapp. But with only two weeks to take out the nukes, Rapp is up against a ticking clock - and impossible odds.

Terrible voice performance

Great story but the performance might be Microsoft Sam or the helpful paperclip. In some instances this is a painful listen.

Great conclusion

Finishing the previous loose ends was great conclusion, nicely woven plots but enough potential left for further weaving

sub par

worst of his series so far, annoying narrator and flat out boring story compared to previous.

Great story, bad voice acting

Really enjoy the story, but the voice acting was frustratingly bad. From yelling when the characters should be whispering, to mispronouncing words, it definitely threw me off a couple of times.

Great story

Great story plot. Vince Flynn does it again.

Ken Kliban is not as good as George Guidal as narrator

this narrator is horrible

I love the whole storyline of Mitch Rapp, read the entire series and was looking forward to listening to the books now, but this narrator is really bad with almost yelling then switching to a soft whisper for those "thoughts or aside" moments. By chapter 3, I'm seriously thinking of ditching the rest of this book and just moving on to the next (thankfully it looks like he only narrated this one)

Not the best, Not the worst.

narrator and audio performance was great, better then the last book for sure.

story wasnt bad but I did struggle to tmget through it. felt of the more political drama novel then a spy thriller the previous mitch rapp books have been. The first half if the book are pretty slow and i had to commit to listening to it but the last 3 hours make it significantly better overall and the book ends with some nice drama.

that being said I will be buying the next book in the series. I enjoy the mitch books and will keep reading until I get bored of it.

Didn’t like the performance

Reader’s voice for females was terrible. Made them all sound like old smokers. Also mispronunciations of short-lived and despicable, among others, was quite annoying. Overall his voice was not enjoyable. The volume changes were ridiculous. He went from shouting to whispering so it was either breaking my ear drums or not audible while listening in my car.

Not my favourite Mitch Rapp story

Struggled to stay with it. I wasn't really fond of the narrator I much prefer George Guidal.

ugh that voice!!!

I spent far too much time changing speeds, desperate to find one that made this voice closer to bearable. That being said, I did enjoying this new chapter of the story.
