Lovely Cozy Mystery

The Oxford Tearoom Mysteries are lovely. Though not overly complex, they bring he reader into a community of characters including the old biddies, and the protagonist’s friends and family. The Oxford atmosphere adds to the charm. #Audible1

Book 1 and 2 were great listens. Book 3 predictable. Looking forward to listening to the next.

Love this series

My sister introduced me to The tearoom mysteries .
With Covid 19 and all the problems going on in the world , these books have saved my sanity .
You can take your mind off of those problems and go into the world of Gemma and all the regular characters that are in all the books .
I love the books . I’ve read 3 and every time I finish one , I quickly order the next one

Dreadful

What a perfectly awful piece of work. The story is transparent, characters cardboard, and the scene where our heroine discusses his misdeeds with the murderer at astonishing length is utterly witless. And the narrator couldn't keep her accents straight. Complete waste of time.

Trite at best. Could not get past the predictability of the story line. Reader was ok.

Disappointing!

The "prequel" was a real write off, especially when the books in the series were new to one. The characters shown and described in it didn't match with the ones in the next two books. Then they All needed an editor and a an active monitor! Had true possibility but flopped across the board!
