Publisher's Summary

“Napoleon Hill was one of America’s great, influential thinkers who continues to have an enormous impact today.” - Steve Forbes, editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine

Bestselling author Napoleon Hill reveals the seven principles of good that allow us to triumph over obstacles...and find success.

Using his legendary ability to get to the root of human potential, Napoleon Hill digs deep to reveal how fear, procrastination, anger, and jealousy prevent us from realizing our personal goals. This long-suppressed parable, once considered too controversial to publish, was written by Hill in 1938 following the publication of his classic bestseller, Think and Grow Rich. Annotated and edited for a contemporary audience by Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Three Feet from Gold coauthor Sharon Lechter, this book is profound, powerful, resonant, and rich with insight.

What the critics say

"My simple faith is this: If we are created in God’s image, then we were born to create, and to create is to prosper. [This] previously unpublished Napoleon Hill manuscript.... I’ve read it and recommend it." (Rich Karlgaard, Publisher of Forbes magazine)

Conversations with the Devil indeed.

I enjoyed this audio book I knew it would have value coming from Napoleon Hill.
Sharon coming in from time to time sharing with the reader what napoleon Hill just said didn't bother me much but felt unessesary.
this work details what we as a society already know and are aware off, how we are conditioned by our parents teachers leaders we continue running the same lines over and over expecting changes.
Napoleon Hill's conversation with the devil becomes more interesting as he continues his interview with the devil explaining how and why we do the things we do and how the devil influences us from an early age even up to old age.
he explains how our education system does not teach us how to live spiritually free rather keeps us down and focused on following the crowd.

Horrible narrator comments...

Would be much better if the narrator didn’t repeat what was said in the book after each chapter...

Great book overall.

Insightful and informative.

I really enjoyed this book. Insightful and informative. The ideas and thoughts of Napoleon Hill was far beyond his time. My only issue is with the Sharon Lechter constantly interrupting with her personal opinions trying to direct readers to her interpretation of the ideas expressed in this writing. It was at times too much to hear, causing me to skip pass her narrative.

This is one book I'll be listening to often.

So much good dialogue between the characters to help us really understand the dangers of an unruly mind and alternatively the power of a well trained mind. Excellent life tool here.
