Publisher's Summary

I’d sworn off men. And then I met Nick Christiansen.

Technically, I fell for him, literally, the moment I landed in his quarterback-sized arms and looked into those soulful eyes. I blame the rum. Or was it tequila?

Spoiler alert: It was those delectable dimples.

Either way, Nick was stupidly handsome and ridiculously charming. He held me like he cared and listened to me like I mattered. Captivated by great conversation and rock-hard abs, Nick had me reconsidering the “No Men” promise I’d made myself.

I still regret walking away the next day.

I can’t stop thinking about the one who got away. But then I run right into Natalie St. James.

She’s still unwittingly gorgeous, if not more so, and as wildly quirky as I remember.

Sidebar: She’s on a date.

What do I expect? For her to still be thinking about me?

I still regret what happens next.

We didn’t get the love story we deserved the first time, then I screwed up our second chance. When the universe shifts and our stars realign, is the third time a charm?

All The Feels and the Narrators Nailed It

Never Got Over You is all about love and fate and destiny! If you are in the mood for a sweet and swoony man with all the right words floating from his mouth and an equally sexy heroine who gives it right back, then this is the book for you! Nick and Natalie had the cutest ‘Meet Cute’ ever and it just gets better from there. These twenty-something characters have chemistry sparking from their fingertips, but why ruin a good thing. As they get comfortable getting to know each other, time flies by, and before they know it, they know less about each other than they realized. With no way of ever contacting each other again, their future is left up to the universe to decide. Never Got Over You is an entertaining story and following Nick and Nat on their journey back to each other makes your heart melt. If ever two people were meant to find each other in this world, they are them. Their romance is mixed with crazy coincidences, swoon-worthy conversations, laughter, and some huge misunderstandings. It has just the right amount of angst to keep you from throwing your kindle at one of them. I must say that Natalie’s stubbornness began to grate on my every nerve but then I remembered, she is only 22 (or so)! In the end, her parents have great advice, and all becomes right with the world again. I also listened to this story on audio and I really think it gave me a different perspective and a much deeper enjoyment level. Both narrators are amazing and bring the characters to life. Even when they are voicing other characters, they always repeated the voices they used, and it was easy to identify and differentiate between who was speaking in the book. Brooke Bloomingdale did a fantastic job as Natalie. It’s my first audiobook with her. She brought out all the passion and emotion of the character and it never felt like I was being read to – it felt like I was being told a story. I also enjoyed the narration of Aiden Snow. He was also able to narrate different characters with ease. He has an amazing voice, I just didn’t feel like he had the voice of a twenty-seven-year-old, so I had a harder time imagining him as Nick. As time went on, I got used to it, he is easy to listen to, just not the voice of Nick in my head. I love listening and reading along. It helps me escape into the book and really absorb the words. When authors have their audible ready on release day, I love to grab it up. I recommend this book to make you feel one with the universe while your stars realign.
