Publisher's Summary

A retired SEAL is about to face his toughest assignment yet. As a nanny...

Fixer. Bodyguard. Advocate. Brann Calder is expected to play all these roles and more as a member of Torus Intercession, a security firm guaranteed to right what’s wrong. In the military, catastrophe was his specialty. Five months out of the service, Brann is still finding his way, so a new assignment might be just what he needs. Unless it includes two things sure to make a seasoned, battle-trained veteran nervous: life in a small town, and playing caregiver to two little girls.

Emery Dodd is drowning in the responsibility of single fatherhood. He’s picked up the pieces after losing his wife and is ready to move on now, hopeful that his engagement to a local patriarch’s daughter will not only enrich his community but will grant his daughters some stability, too.

The only thing standing in Emery’s way is that he can’t seem to keep his eyes - and hands - off the former soldier he’s hired to watch his girls until the wedding.

Emery’s future is riding on his upcoming nuptials, but being with Brann makes him and his family feel whole again. Too bad there’s no way for them to be together.

Or is there?

An amazing story

This has to be one of the best stories I have listen to on this site. It has just enough action and humor to keep you on the edge of your seat. It is so pure and loving. I fell in love with Brann just as fast as the girls did, if not more. The beginning is a little boring, but once he's out in Montana, it's non-stop amazingness. I laughed, I cried, I screamed. It pulls so many emotions from you in just a few words. Mary Calmes' made an amazing story that I hope many people listen to and enjoy.
Scott R. Smith did a fantastic job voicing all of these characters, his voice clearly chaining so you clearly know when it's a new character speaking. He's voice made me fall in love with everything. He seemed so excited for parts of it, almost like a childish joy. This story is filled with a lot of childish joy and is too freaken sweet. I can no say that enough.

I honestly hope that there is a part two soon, and hopefully this isn't the last we hear of Brann, Emry and their girls. Best Nanny ever.

Upbeat and Very enjoyable!

4 Blue Roses
4 Blue Flames

Narrator Scott R. Smith delivered a funny and upbeat romantic comedy. He is talented and a natural narrator. His voice is beautiful, smooth and versatile. His emotions flow subtly into his reading making listening to his work very enjoyable to listen to this author/narrator duo.

I am a Mary Calmes fan, so as soon as I saw this new audiobook, I just had to have it. The story line is kind of predictable, but it was still an adventure with a HEA. It was a beautiful romance, and I will keep my eyes open for the follow up in the series. The characters and upbeat experience is like a little blue pill, it picks you up, but you have to continue to take it just forget about it, until it comes around again.
Otherwise, you will get weak, needy and just plain addicted.

Happy Listening.
