Publisher's Summary

From Ruth Ware, the number-one New York Times best-selling author of In a Dark, Dark Wood, The Woman in Cabin 10, The Lying Game, The Death of Mrs. Westaway, and The Turn of the Key, comes her highly anticipated sixth novel.

Getting snowed in at a mountain chalet doesn’t sound like the worst problem in the world. Especially when there’s a breathtaking vista, a cozy fire, and company to keep you warm. Unless that company happens to be eight coworkers...none of whom you can trust. When an off-site company retreat meant to promote mindfulness and collaboration goes utterly wrong with the arrival of a monster storm, the corporate food chain becomes irrelevant and survival trumps synergy. Come Monday morning, how many members short will the team be?

the narrator

I have enjoyed many books narrated by Imogen Church but am finding that her manner of speech has become exaggerated - and hence distracting from the narrative.

Amazing

I love every Ruth Ware book just as much if not more than her last one!

Wrong narrator listed

I like Ruth Ware now despite my savage misgivings about her predictable plots. Turn of the Key changed things for me - really enjoyed that one. This doesn't blow my mind, but it's a fun, easy listen. Imogen Church (seriously Audible, change the narrator back) is a good narrator.

Another awesome story by Ruth Ware

This book was everything I hoped it would be. Keeps you guessing right till the end! It's got well fleshed out characters and a gripping plot.
I absolutely love Imogen Church's narration, she does a great job at giving each character a distinct voice. Now I'm off to listen to the next book!

If you like the F word then this book is a winner

Great story, Imogen church’s pronouncing of the F word gets annoying after a while, great book

Chapters

I enjoyed most of the story except for a couple of things. I found it very annoying that the beginning of each chapter started not only with the name of the character but the unnecessary and confusing, ‘...Snoop idea...Snoop scribers, 1’.
While I am in favour of using the word ‘f*#k’ when appropriate, I found it greatly overused in this story.

Solid narration. Ok story.

The story was engaging enough but kind of predictable and the last hour was a waste of time. Solid narrator.

Riveting and so so fun!

I have read three of Ruth Ware’s books now and this is my favourite! I didn’t mind that the red herring and the murderer were somewhat obvious, because the story and the characters were so well put together.
I also liked Girl In Cabin 10 and really really didn’t like The Lying Game (I didn’t even finish the ending couple chapters because I hated the ending so so much)
