If we're misfits why not to be OPTIMISFITS?

Are you ready? Here we go:
Wow just wow! I admit I didn't know what to expect when I got this book, well that's not exactly true, I wanted it to be perfect, amazing, eye-opening inspiring... So when I started listening to it, what I didn't know was if it would meet my expectations or it would let me down. The pressure was on! And did I say Wow already?

From the very firsts chapters, you'll find yourself immersed inside this book. Courson's fast pace writing style will have you saying ok just five more minutes and then to bed, -work, class,...-, this time for real! And failing miserably... Every time...

What will you find in it? Truth told like it is packed with biblical references, science, a huge and necessary dose of hope, anecdotes and the author's passions, experiences and heart poured out on top of it.

You can see Courson's essence on every single page, sometimes he'll make you smile, sometimes he'll stop you in your tracks and others, others he'll bring tears to your eyes because he wrote something that hits too close to home. But, isn't that what we want when we listen to or read a book? A writer with the ability to touch something inside us? A writer capable to awake and ignite us?

If you don't know yet if you should get Optimisfits, let me tell you why you should: Because at the end of the day, you know just like I do, that there is much more in life than this, it has to be right? Well then, start the book and let the author lead the way... Because oh yes, he'll be right in your ear reading it to you!

Solid & Transformative: Every Word Matters

To listen to this book is definitely not to wade across an ankle-deep stream of reasons why you should be hopeful, arriving at the opposite shore with a new attitude. No. To journey toward hope with Ben Courson is, first of all, to be brutally honest about any feelings of despair you might have. Ben models this with such clarity that any similar feelings you might have are sure to rise to the surface … ready for an upcoming transformation. And, to journey toward hope with Ben is to learn that hope rests on a solid, logical foundation, i.e., we have good reason to be hopeful. Turn after turn, Ben points out how we can not only grab hold of hope but how we can rebel against hopelessness. Not very often do I finish listening to a book and find myself transformed. Optimisfits: Igniting a Fierce Rebellion Against Hopelessness is one of those books.

Don’t expect any folderol; every word matters. Ben is a thinker, and I’m certain he put much thought into every character he tapped. (He wrote this book on his iPhone.) Optimisfits is not a book you’ll listen to just once. It’s a book that will change the way you think after the first listen, but that cries out to be listened to again and again. Its truths are that vital.
