Publisher's Summary

A compilation of funny, irreverently reverent stories on aligning with the Divine in daily life. For the passionately spiritual and bemusedly skeptical alike.

Adapted from a popular column originally published as "San Francisco's Spiritual Examiner" at examiner.com.

"What if God IS the story? What if the Divine is constantly igniting roadside flares to get our attention? What if there actually IS a Supreme Organizing Principle with a ribald and unbridled sense of humor? And what if we each have this ardent inner suitor who's writing us love letters every day that often go unopened?"

What if indeed? Read on.

Author Bio: Tosha Silver grew up thinking one day she would be a rabbi, a lawyer or a weathergirl. But fate had other ideas. She graduated from Yale with a degree in English Literature but along the way fell madly in love with metaphysics and yogic philosophy. For the last 30 years she has taught many ways to align with the inner Divine. She lives near San Francisco and also writes a spiritual column at examiner.com. Enjoyable reaffirmation

I enjoyed the stories she used to express her key points. The focus on intuition and trusting that you will find the right path resonated. I would listen to this again. #Audible1

Perfect blend of depth and humor

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I loved this audio book. It really spoke to me. It was full of stories that illustrate how aligning with the divine in every day life can change how life feels every day. The stories were soulful, deep, funny and magical all at the same time. I finished the book today and will start it again tomorrow. There is so much there, I want to hear it again to scoop up more of its gems. I was listening as I drove to work. A bus pulled up along side of me with a huge billboard on the back. It read "Loving Kindness." Just at that moment, Tosha said, "Metta - Loving Kindness." I swear.

Intuitive and authentic

If you find that you are a pattern person or constantly think and speak in a metaphoric manner, this book will resonate with you. Every chapter inspired me to trust my intuition more and walk continually in love. I found myself smiling continually and felt the warmth and authenticity of the author. A challenging and truth filled work!

A soothing and simple message about connecting with the Divine

I enjoyed the author's writing style; I spent several years living errrr growing up in San Francisco, so this really brought me back, but even beyond that, I loved her message. Take the time to connect with Spirit and ask for help. My dog was just kidnapped, so I am truly connecting to the Divine to ask for the safe return of my dog. Funny these curveballs we are thrown in life. It seems everything in my life is a struggle. My mom always told me it would be & guess what she was right. I am reading Tosha's book and books like her's to break this habit of everything being a struggle. The White Flag is raised ...

Amazingly calming!

The soothing voice paired with the content instantly altered my mood after stressful days at the office sitting in rush hour traffic. I released my skeptical, need for scientific evidence and found that life is much easier when you are open to magical possibilities.

Intimately told stories that teach deep truth

Once you settle into the fact that this is not your normal 6 steps to fill in the BLANK, it's quiet a gem. Spiritual truths told in personal stories with a practical outcome. I find myself putting it as I go to sleep. Also strange at first is its not really a pro audiobook production, but you'll get used to it. And it actually is very fitting for the intimate conversation of the book.
I also got the kindle with narration which is good for highlighting some of the major points.

Transformative! :D

I enjoyed listening to this book while commuting. There are so many transformative points, I often found myself replaying sections. I bought the book so I can jot down notes. I'm going to buy "Change Me Prayers" next. I'm joyfully inspired...

Perfect Timing

I have had this book in my Audible library for a couple of months now. Listening and reading through several other books, this book was mentioned multiple times. I knew the universe was trying to get my attention and it was time to listen. Great voice, perfect content, perfect timing!
