I really wanted to like this book after reading all the Kindle reviews.

I liked that she had people in her corner but some of the interactions were a bit to cringy for my taste. Her family was to into her personal life. I think I am just to old to see it like my Kindle peeps. It wasn’t that the book was bad of anything it just didn’t connect to me. My dislike of the book 1. I have a daughter I sure wouldn’t be pushing her on a guy that use the excuse of being to drunk to know right from wrong. 2. He goes back for seconds again being to drunk. 3. Her family making plans and pushing marriage and for the hero to get her pregnant like she didn’t have a brain in head to make decisions. 3. Her parents relationship wasn’t so healthy so they were the last two people to give advice. 4. Hero let her go for 12 long years so how much in love with her he was just didn’t give me the feels like some of the books I read and him using sex to get his way no thanks. I don’t think I am going to read the rest of the books in the series if they read like this one. This is my take but it isn’t a bad read it just doesn’t do it for me.
