This book was the perfect ending for Clay and Nova’s story! Everything they encountered and dealt with and their reactions felt so true to their characters. Clay sure knows how to grovel when it’s needed, and Nova was finally a strong enough person to assert herself and not let him get away with anything this time around. It really felt like they were finally on solid ground, and the life they were building together is going to be a beautiful one. Piper’s world with this team is such a great one, I wish there were stories for so many of the side characters. Lance and Carly were once again excellent as Clay and Nova, you really felt all the emotions they were going through because of their performances.

Perfect conclusion to Clay and Nova’s story!
