Publisher's Summary

A prominent figure amongst New York City's fashion elite, Elena Vega is a successful businesswoman and single mother to an adorable three-year-old son, Lucas. Her love life, however, is lacking, as those closest to her keep pointing out.

At the persistent urging of her closest friend, Elena reluctantly agrees to a string of blind dates if she can find a suitable babysitter for Lucas.

Enter Allison Sawyer, a free-spirited senior at New York University.

Elena is intrigued by Allison's ability to push her out of her element, and the young woman's instant and easy connection with a normally shy Lucas quickly earns Allison the job.

After each blind date, Elena returns home to complain to Allison about her lacking suitors. As they bond, Elena begins to realize that the person possessing all the qualities she most desires might just be the woman who has been in front of her the entire time.

The vast difference between the two women's social statuses, however, may be an obstacle not easily overcome.

Loved the Book and the Audio Made it Better

I loved this book with its quirks on dialogue and everything so when I saw the audiobook was made I had to get it. To me it made the book all the better. Kira Riley does a great job with voices (subtle differences in the characters voices). If you loved or even just liked the book, you will enjoy this narration of it!

Hot! Hot!! Hot!!!

It is a sweet sensual love story, with hot sexiness mixed in to make for one amazingly great book! That would make for an awesome movie! The whole book I couldn't help but picture Anna Kendrick as Allison.

Feel good read!

I love this book. It’s now at the top of my list of lesbian romance novels. The characters are witty and real and I found myself laughing constantly at the dialogue. I was expecting more of a climax toward the end but I feel that the progression was much more realistic than most other romance books.

Don’t pass on this one!

Utterly adorable.

I’ve read (listened) to plenty of lesbian fiction romances and this one takes the cake as the cutest. It’s cheesy sure. It’s also witty and addicting. I found myself actually laughing and grinning throughout the entire book. If you want a cute romantic comedy that involves two adorable women then look no further. Throw your judgement aside and just enjoy an absolutely angst-free romance. I wish this was a movie. I sincerely mean that. A mainstream romantic comedy. Read this book. The narrator sounds young yes but it didn’t bother my 33 year old ears.

Like Lady and the Tramp but way gayer with no dogs

The most unrealistic thing about this book is that Elena's wardrobe never got raided by Allison. not even once. and we all know the lesbians love to share clothes.

Best book ever!!

I absolutely loved this book! It had be caught from the beginning. And through the whole book i would catch a big smile on my face while listening. This is probably the best narrator i have ever listened to! She had such distinct voices for each character. This book is a must!
