Publisher's Summary
It starts with a thunderous crack and a flash of light. Screams come next. Then the hunters. With a staccato flicker, light disappears and everything within a hundred-yard radius goes with it. All that remains is a massive crater where a chunk of the world has gone missing. As the deadly phenomenon repeats and expands amidst the world's most densely populated cities, Jack Sigler, Callsign: King, and his black ops team take action. But the team is broken, spread across the globe, and vulnerable.
Scrambling to make sense of the violent disappearances and fighting to reunite, the team comes face to face with an otherworldly enemy. Taking the battle to the ends of the Earth - and beyond - the team combats a savage enemy whose centuries-old plan for mankind has nearly reached fruition. If they fail, the planet will become little more than a fully stocked food cache.

Excellent story
What did you love best about Ragnarok: A Jack Sigler Thriller?
Another awesome adventure with the Chess Team!!! It has everything you've come to expect with one of three books and I am very glad I read all the novellas between the last full novel and this one. If you haven't, you really should. Excellent book!!
Any additional comments?
Jeffrey Kafer has a fantastic way of bringing the book to life. I love his interpretations of the characters, especially Rook, who continuously cracks me up.

A must listen
I think this is the best book in the Chess Team stories so far. The team is back together, fighting other worldly creatures to save the world. I couldn't stop listening. Kafer is on fine form.

Jeremy Robinson does it again!!!!
Would you listen to Ragnarok: A Jack Sigler Thriller again? Why?
You bet..just to catch anything I missed the first time! Jeremy Robinson does it again!! From start to finish, an action-packed, edge of your seat thriller! The Chess Team members are called once again to combat a new terror that threatens the existence of man and takes the team not only around the world but into a new dimension. This one is a Chess Team fan must read!!
Jeremy never fails to create a story I can become completely engrossed in. His characters are not static but continue to grow and change with each new challenge. I have read each of the books in this series and I cannot wait for the next. So often in this genre reoccurring characters are stereotypes. Not in Jeremy’s books! As a woman, I love that he offers up strong female characters in his books. Not just kick butt..and oh they are, but wonderfully written characters I can cheer for! Then again… all of his characters walk right off the page!
Of course Jeremy’s imagination is rivaled by none! He never fails to create new challenges for this team that blow me away! Still wiping virtual white goo off myself!! As always he leaves us wanting for more. Grab a cup of coffee, a cozy spot and settle in for a great read!
What other book might you compare Ragnarok: A Jack Sigler Thriller to and why?
Honestly there are a few I might compare it too..but I won't because his character development is so much better than most in the genre! I was so thrilled that I did not find static characters in his work!
Which character – as performed by Jeffrey Kafer – was your favorite?
Hmmm...I love Queen..but I think Bishop is the one I enjoyed the most in this book! Kafer did a wonderful job with the accents!!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Perhaps at the end..but I won't give that away!
Any additional comments?
Cannot wait for the next one!!

This series will drag you in and won’t let you go. Not that you will want it to. Loving every minute of the story. Well written and well narrated. Highly recommended.

Another mission to save the world
Chess Team is back for another incredible supernatural adventure. This time they are defending the world from invaders from another dimension. Heavily recommend you read/listen to the Rook novella as it could conceivably be considered the prequel/partial set up for this one. As with all Chess Teams novels you are in for a ton of action and wild story. Jeffrey Kafer does his usual bang up job with the narration.

Fine without all of the callbacks
I’m continuing on with the series because I don’t quit something once I start. But I’m picking up on some things I’m starting to find obnoxious. This is book 4 of the series - not including book 0 or all of the 8 novellas. By book 4, everyone should know the backstories and not need such in depth call backs to explain why they have an underground facility, past re-gen issues, etc. I felt like way too much time was spent on call backs and it made the writing not as enjoyable for me.
