Story
Many Americans dream of financial freedom, but they're stuck in dead-end jobs and don't know how to get there. You don't need to be one of them. If you invested $35,000 in the stock market today, it could take 52 years for that investment to grow to $1 million. But if you invested that same amount into one single-family $140,000 rental property, it would only take 19 years. With just two rental properties, you could generate $417,000 in profit in just 10 years. Skeptical?

In How to Be a Stoic, philosopher Massimo Pigliucci offers Stoicism, the ancient philosophy that inspired the great emperor Marcus Aurelius, as the best way to attain it. Stoicism is a pragmatic philosophy that teaches us to act depending on what is within our control and separate things worth getting upset about from those that are not.

Good info but a little basic
Great tips on property management. As an experienced investor I didn’t find a ton of nuggets, but still one or two. I’ve heard amazing things about this book and I suspect it has changed the mindset of a lot of new investors, but as an experienced investor I found it kind of light.

Great information, but buying hardcopy
Best book I have read so far on Real estate investing. A ton of great info and in the weeds detail that most books upsell you on some course to provide. So much in the weeds detail, however, that I am buying the hard copy because listening to this without looking at the PDF and having a pen and paper in front of me, made me feel like I missed a ton. Awesome book, respect to the RDPD team, great content.

Good
Would have been nice to have acces to the charts in PDF. Others then that good book if you know nothing about real estate. It feels like the beginning is more geared toward smaller multi (6-10units) which is good fit people starting out, but the later chapters seem to be note about larger multis. All un all a good book.
